Short description
I'm creating a updated chaos/rpg/d&d game, interested?
Proposed name
Don't know yet, ideas?
Full description
I'm coding and doing the graphics for a new hybrid game, based on chaos for the spectrum (and the amiga updated versions) combined with many of my own ideas and rpg ideas used in other games. Basically you will control a wizard who can cast hundreds (!) of spells, and create hundreds (!) of creatures, all of various sizes, and abilities. I have already programmed part of the game and have some creatures and sound in there. Is anybody else interested in this type of game? Any ideas or comments? Please add them to this link, I don't have an E-mail address yet (maybe in feb.), but I will check on this through the web. If there is enough interest, I will release pics and a demo onto the aminet. p.s. It's looking good, a sort of chaos engine view, over a scrollable playfield!

Comments
Just adding a comment to get my "new" address in here as my HM account got wiped for inactivity. (A contributing factor may be that after the last updates it can't be accessed from "Other" computers any more. At least not with the browser I use.) Oh well. It's been a couple of years both since the idea was first aired and since it was reserved. Anything new yet?

...And we don't really want to use Hotmail since it's M$, so therefore we all go to www.dcemail.com which is generally groovy!

Well, well. What happens when you surf. I am actually believe it or not in the final stages of a simple prototype which fits almost the same description as yours. So why not team up, I can also do fairly decent graphics, and I can code aswell. I am currently using BlitzBasic V2.1 and I have coded around 120K of source, and made around 2M of graphics.

Not really a comment on the game idea, just thought I'd mention there's a number of places you can get free web-based email, so there's really no reason not to start communicating tomorrow. I use Hotmail (www.hotmail.com), but there are others as well.
