| No music sequencer exists for the amiga (to my knowledge) which incorporates any soundwave formats with midi notes. Someone out there should continue the groundbreaking work of Todor Fay on Bars and Pipes professional with its excellent user interface and add the audio capabilities it never fully implemented. The programmer might be able to include synchronized video sequencing as well. A market exists for a program that could add Midi sequencing and audio file format conversion to the video toaster- flyer. I have had to switch to other platforms for much of my recording studio work because of the dearth of programs and hardware for the Amiga. I would be willing to buy an Amiga like program in the Amiverse digital environment that would run on my WinTel platform and worked with the excellent audiocards and midi interfaces. Amigas have always looked great but have needed 16 to 24 bit sound forever. |
