Short description
Multi-format Sound Resampler
Proposed name
AmAudio
Full description
It'd be nice to see a way to resample LARGE sound files which do not fit into memory. It would also be nice to resample CD Audio tracks (for MP3 conversion) at reduced rates, to further shrink end file sizes. GUI'd be nice, but not a requirement, as this seems to me to be more of a shell utility. (Most likely a shareware project.)

It will not be a single program, but a complete sound processor programm, that can handle samples on disk, too. It is currently only planned for raw samples, sorry!

As soon as sound.datatype of the datatypes V45 project will support hard disk editting, it will also be possible to resample in non-raw formats! I have always added a very simple datatype export function to my program, but there is still much to do.
Due to the complexity of my project, the release of the first version will delay a lot.

Released Assampler on AmiNet
The people who added this wish didn't answer to earlier e-mails. Maybe they found other programs, that do the job already.
